By entering the lottery you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“the Rules”). Tia reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. The current Rules will be posted on the
website. A hard copy may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Tia offices at the above address. Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue is the Promoter of this Lottery, which is a ‘Society Lottery’ within the
meaning of the Gambling Act 2005. All of the profits from Tia go directly towards funding the services of Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue. The lottery is promoted by Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue

1. To enter the lottery, you must be a UK resident aged 16 (sixteen) or over.

2. The Lottery is drawn on the 28th of each month. It offers one £250 cash prize each month. All prizes are guaranteed to be won each month.

3. All tickets [chances] are priced at £1. A minimum amount of £1 per month is payable. All payment must be received in before the ticket can be entered into the draw and is eligible to win a prize. There is no limit of numbers per month, per membership, that is allowed.

4. You acknowledge that your payment of £1 per ticket [chance] to enter the lottery does not guarantee that you will win any prize.

5. All prize winners will automatically be notified by post together with a cheque within 7 days of the draw. For each draw the winning number is on the Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue website.

6. The winning prizes will be payable by cheque in the name of the member only.

7. You are solely responsible for providing Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue with your accurate and up-to-date contact details and advising Tia of any changes to these. Tia will be not be liable for any failure or inability to contact
any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details.
In the event of winning cheques remaining un-cashed after a period of six months the Promoter reserves the right to return unclaimed prizes TiaGreyhound and Lurcher Rescue.

(All winning cheques and further communications will be sent to the named person at the registered address).

8. It is a condition of these Rules that by accepting a prize, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activity and Tia reserves the right to use the name and address of the winner, their photograph and audio and/or visual
recordings of them unless Tia receives prior notification to the contrary.

9. A unique sequentially selected lottery number will be issued when you either sign up to become a member or buy each single ticket.
In the event that it is found that a ticket holder is either a non-UK resident or under 16 years of age, we will cancel the holder’s unique lottery number. We will endeavour to refund the lottery ticket payment and the ticket holder will no longer be eligible to participate in the lottery.

10. We reserve the right to refuse an application or cancel an existing membership. Any such rejection may be reconsidered on submission to the Lottery Promoter. The decision of the Lottery Promoter will be final.

11. Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue is currently licensed by Calderdale Council to run a Small Society Lottery

12. Prizes are as advertised on the charity’s website. There are no alternatives to any prize won and no interest is payable. The Charity reserves the right to change the number of prizes on offer and the amounts without giving prior
notice to subscribers.

13. Except as specifically set out in these Rules, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded.

14. Tia cannot accept liability for loss / theft or delays for any payments / forms / communications sent by post or email or for any delay in payments through the banking system and the Internet or any event beyond the reasonable
control of the Charity

15. Tia is committed to protecting your privacy. By purchasing lottery chances you consent to the collection and processing of your personal details by us. Data collected from you is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection legislation. Your data will be used solely for the purpose of being a member of the Tia, and notifying you of events, appeals and promotions about the Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue. If you would prefer not to be so contacted then please advise the Tia in writing.

16. If you wish to make a complaint regarding the lottery then please first contact Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue at the above address. The complaint will be addressed following our current complaints procedure.

17. Employees of Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue who are directly involved in the running of the Lottery, are ineligible to enter the Lottery

18. Tia will not sell, rent or pass your personal data to unrelated third parties without express prior permission. You may access the information held about you by contacting Tia in writing.

20. A request to self-exclude, as defined by the Gambling Act 2005, may be made by contacting the Tia Lottery but you would not be able to re-join the lottery for a period of 6 months from the date of self-exclusion.

21. In the event that any provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions which shall continue in full force and effect.

22. Tia’s decisions made in accordance with the Rules shall be final and binding.

23. These Rules shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws
of England and Wales.

24. The Charity reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions
without notice

25. The promoter’s decision is final regarding any issue with the Tia Greyhound
and Lurcher Rescue lottery.
