Tia Rescue is home to up to 100 Greyhounds, lots of Shire horses, lots of donkeys and a menagerie of other animals.
We are now in our 21st year – being established by Deb in 1996 – and the problem of Greyhound Welfare is still a massive problem.
Tia receives no money from the racing industry.
It wasn’t until 2004 that Tia became a registered charity and has gone from a few stables in a field in Sowerby Bridge, to a very recent move to a 70 acre farm in Finningley, Doncaster.
Tia is one of only 4 Approved Shire Horse Visitor Centres in the country.
Tia has seven charity shops in Pickering, Meltham, Halifax, Todmorden ,Hebden Bridge, Ashby and at the farm.
We have a 20 acre field set aside which is available to hire for any event.
If you can help in any way, please do.
Thank you.

Volunteers Welcome

We always struggle for volunteers. We need people every morning and most afternoons.
Please don’t wait to be asked.
Just give me a quick call or text.
